I gave a loaf of freshly baked bread from Our Daily Bread bakery to Mandy Heydenrych one of the managers of WesBank. She said she would share this with her staff. Little did I realise what sharing means. I received this email from Mandy:
‘This is the loaf of bread that I received from you. Thank you Stephen for the donation. I made R72.25 out of this loaf. I bought the Jam and butter, and then raffled off each slice to my SPECIALISED COLLECTION LEGAL team. This amount has been deposited into the 1 in 1 out account.’
Wow, what a wonderful story thank you Mandy and all who have put bread into the mouths of some more hungry kids.
