White Squatter Camp

Villa Gloria is a “white squatter Camp” in Krugersdorp we support. This is something new that is now evident in the new South Africa. Poverty knows no colour. Now that laws have change form the old Apartheid era and equal opportunities many of the previously privileged find themselves in a disadvantaged situation. 1in1out finds a need and fills it the best possible way. Many of these people that liuve in this settlement are unemployed. Some work as car guards ( looking after vechile in a open parking lot). We supply food, groceries, meals, blankets to these families. They are such lovely peole who apprecate what we do.

    Hi,

I have heard about the Krugersdorp squatter camp and have 5 bags of clothes that I have managed to gather from family and friends. I would also like to donate my pick n pay smart shopper points (preferably go myself and buy the food or necessitites).

Please could you advise me on whether your organisation s able to assist me in ensuring that the clothes and food will reach the people at the camp?

I loook forward to heearing from you.

    Thanks
