CHRISTMAS AT CORONATION

I recall a few years back when we did a street march with these kids, we had torrential rains and the march was delayed for about 2 hours. This Saturday was a bright Gauteng summer day. We had drummies and the boy’s brigade leading the march. With about 180 “Differently Abled Children”, some on wheel  chairs, their teachers, caregivers and a crowd of parents and community members marching through the streets of Newlands. Back at the school grounds, the children rendered some lovely skits and special items. Many of us take so much for granted. What an emotional performance to see what talent these kids have. We gave them a sumptuous lunch. Well done to the principal and staff for all the work you do with these kids in 2011.
